How to Identify Your Deluxe Memory Man

1976–1978
Reverb identifies the early blue/silver Deluxe Memory Man as 1976–1978; prized Reticon-era collector version.

4-Knob SAD1024

c.1976–1978
Early Deluxe Memory Man collector variant. Vintage 4-knob Deluxe units are associated with Reticon SAD1024 BBDs; track separately from the later 5-knob MN3005 Deluxe Memory Man.

Black/Red Vintage

1978–1984
Later vintage black/red Deluxe Memory Man generation; should be valued separately from early blue/silver and later reissues.

5-Knob MN3005

1978–1984
Classic 5-knob Deluxe Memory Man generation. The black/red version is widely cataloged as 1978–1984 and is one of the most collectible player versions.

Big Box Reissue

1996–2007
Reverb identifies 1996–2007 as the big-box reissue era; more collectible than later compact versions.

Big Box Reissue 2x MN3005

late 1990s–2000s
Early big-box reissues can use two MN3005 BBDs. If chip type is verified, separate these from later 4x MN3008 reissues for collector pricing.

Big Box Reissue 4x MN3008

2000s–2007
Later big-box reissues can use four MN3008 BBDs. Chip verification is important because sellers often list all big-box reissues together.

EHX Deluxe Memory Man — Big Box Reissue
